Terms & Conditions
In the following conditions of contract, "The Photographer" shall mean Sarah Campbell. "The Client(s) shall be those who name appears on the contract. The due performance of the contract is subject to the condition below and they cannot be varied in any way by The Client(s) unless such conditions are expressly agreed by The Photographer in writing.
Copyright & Reproduction
The Photographer retains full, unlimited copyright on all photographs supplied. The Photographer reserves the right to use any images for display, exhibition, competition or advertising, including use on social media sites and blog.
Digital images are provided to the client with personal printing and display rights only. Sarah Campbell Photography should be credited in any images are shared on social media. The Client is not permitted to use the photographs for personal or commercial gain.
The Photographer will not accept responsibility for issues of cropping, colour balance and quality when third party printers are used.
Artistic Licence
The Photographer shall be granted artistic licence in relation to the poses photographed and locations used. The Photographer's judgement regarding the location, poses and number of photographs taken shall be deemed correct. Photographs taken during the course of a booking will be at the discretion of The Photographer although every effort will be made to comply with The Clients requirements. The Photographer shall endeavour to photograph all individuals as requested by The Client at some point during the booking, but no responsibility will be taken by The Photographer in the event of leaving somebody out. Please note that any alterations made to the booking by The Client once details have been confirmed may only be made at the discretion of The Photographer and in some circumstances, The Photographer may be unable to accommodate these alterations due to a conflict of commitments. Under these circumstances, The Photographer are not liable to compensate The Client in any way whatsoever. The Photographer cannot be held responsible if children are uncooperative during a photo-session and it is not possible to capture all the images expected. The client is responsible for all children during the session.
The Photographer reserves the creative right to edit and release only images deemed fit as professional in quality and within its artistic standards.
Payment & Prices
A non-refundable booking fee along with a completed Booking Form will confirm your booking. All additional goods are payable on ordering.
Where the shoot date is no more than 12 months after the date of signing, all photographic services undertaken on that date are supplied at the prices ruling on the date of signing. The main reprint order, that is the remainder of the package booked, if placed within no more than six months of the contracted date is also supplied at the prices ruling on the date of signing. All additional reprint orders, including the main reprint order, if placed after six months of the contracted date, and small reprint orders placed at any time, are supplied at the prices ruling at that time.
Liability
The due performance of the contract is subject to alteration or cancellation by The Photographer owing to any cause beyond their control (i.e. sudden illness/injury). In the event of cancellation by The Photographer - although all attempts will be made to arrange for another photographer to be present, or in the unlikely event of total photographic failure (although re-shoots may be arranged if practicable – The Photographer will not be responsible for costs in order to stage such re-shoots). The Photographers liability shall be limited to a full refund of any deposits and fees paid. Travel will not be reimbursed.
Complaints
In the unlikely event of any complaint with regards to our service, all complaints must be received in writing within seven days of collection of products purchased. This includes photographs, albums and frames.
Storage of Images
Digital files shall remain the property of The Photographer and shall be kept by them for not less than 6 months from the contract date. Should digital files be lost, damaged or destroyed for reasons beyond control The Photographer liability shall be limited to a full refund of any deposits and fees paid, but shall not include a refund for any goods already received. All orders should be placed with The Photographer before the end of the 6 month period starting at the contract date. The Photographer will not be liable for failure to produce any orders placed after this time. The Photographer will choose the best images from the session. All presented pictures are selected at the Photographer’s discretion, and the Photographer reserves the right to edit and release only the images that meet her artistic standards. Once this selection has been made any remaining images will be deleted.
Your purchase of the original files releases Sarah Campbell Photography (SCP) from any liability due to loss or damage of the images and also releases SCP from any obligation to maintain copies of any digital file, image, or photograph.
Cancellation
If The Client(s) should have to cancel a booking the following cancellation fees (as may be appropriate to their case) will become due immediately upon said cancellation. In all cases where The Photographer is able to rebook the date with an equivalent booking, the no cancellation fee will apply.
Ordering
Any alterations to orders must be notified either by telephone or in writing (sent by special delivery) within one working day of the order being placed. The Photographer will not be held liable for any costs incurred due to alterations to the order made by The Client after this time.
The Photographer must be notified either by telephone or in writing (sent by special delivery) within two working days of The Client(s) being in receipt of their order in the case of error, shortage or damage as mistakes cannot be rectified after this period. Due to the nature of the product, The Photographer is unable to give exchanges or refunds. This does not affect your statutory rights. In the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through equipment malfunction, lost in the mail or otherwise lost or damaged, the photographer will offer to re-shoot at no extra cost to the client but shall have no further liability for losses, including consequential losses, incurred by the client.
Privacy Policy
This privacy policy sets out how Sarah Campbell Photography (SCP) uses and protects any information that you give SCP when you use this website. SCP is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
• Internal record keeping.

How long the information is stored for:
Information gathered will be stored securely for as long as is required to honour this contract. Name and email address details may be retained for longer to enable us to contact you regarding promotional emails, as above, unless you unsubscribe, in which instance your details will be securely erased from our records.
Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, and electronic procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. Sarah Campbell Photography will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. You may request details of personal information which we hold about you. If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please email as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
