When you book a beach location for a family photo-session, generally people are hoping for blue skies, some sunshine, some warmth, you know, 'beach weather'.....particularly after all the glorious sunshine we have had lately.
Unfortunately that wasn't what the scottish weather had in store for us when I visited Yellowcraigs with the Farr family last weekend. We did check in first thing when the haar making it inland as far as our respective homes, but having kept both boys 'reasonably clean' they were up for going ahead. And I am so glad they did...... the haar diffused the light beautifully, and the weather meant that we ended up with the beach/dunes/woodland all to ourselves! Who could ask for more?! (Well, aside from the beach being a tad warmer so we could have played there a little longer.......)
p.s. Didn't mum do a fantastic job with everyones outfits?! Classic patterns and colours, while keeping everyone comfortable and coordinated - top marks!
