I recently ran a competition through Edinburgh for Under Fives, for a family to be picked at random to win a family photo-session package. There was a lot of entries and I must admit I felt relieved to not be responsible for picking the winner! A few weeks back I had the honour of meeting up with the lucky family in Portobello and spending a wee bit of time capturing these images for them....and many many more!
In the build up to the photo-session mum, Alyssa, had been in touch and told me the Elijah wasn't walking yet but they would love to capture some images of him taking strides on the beach holding their hands. It was once again a reminder that there are so many milestones in those first few years...and just how important it is to have something to look back on to remember the excitement that goes with all of those achievements!
We also got to make the most of the gorgeous blue skies, the early quiet beach, and the fun that can be had when you get to take time out from the day to day and just enjoy spending time together as a family....
....and also making a point of remembering to enjoy your time as a couple as well! So much love to clearly visible between Mom, Dad and the adorable Elijah!
Alyssa is from America, so it will be especially nice for her to be able to send home some up to date photos of their lovely boy!
