Regardless of the 'type' of shoot, there are two things that I get told more often than not: That they haven't got a clue what to wear, and that they hate having their photo taken. Now, as Katy and Craig are in wedding planning mode their attire for the big day is taken care of (a kilt for Craig, and a dress for Katy (although Craig has a few more months to wait to find out if it will have sleeves or not, and if it is one of the class 'knitted toilet roll numbers that adorned many a doll in grandparents bathrooms in years gone by!) I have no doubt she will look stunning on the day. For their engagement shoot they even coordinated their outfits with the giant Vogrie chairs - coincidentally I might add.
I see it as my job, not only to give you pretty pictures that capture the feeling of the day, but also to make the experience as pain-free as possible! I offer all my wedding couples a pre-wedding shoot, to get to know each other a bit more before the day, to hear about their exciting plans and to give them some images of the two of them together - in this case drastically increasing the number they have with them both in! I might guide you to hold each other, look at me/each other, but no awkward posing.
We met one Saturday at Vogrie Country Park, making the most of the glorious weather, and giving them some contrasting images to their Winter Wedding. We had a chat, went for a walk, and kept the whole experience really relaxed. So excited for their big day!!
Here are some more of my favourites.
