MacDonald | Wedding | Pollokshields Burgh Hall

Updated: Apr 19, 2020

When Katy's enquiry arrived for me to photograph her wedding at the stunning Polloksheilds Burgh Hall in Glasgow I jumped at the chance!

I love weddings with lots of personality and Katy and Craig's did not disappoint. There was lots of creative details such as their self-brewed beer and brazed bicycles within their centerpieces, a math based table plan (with solutions on the tables themselves!) and , alongside incredibly talented friends and family using their time and skills to give something more to the end products such as the stunning cake finished off by the Mother-of-the-Bride whilst in her finery!

The weather had looked touch and go all week, but aside from a drizzly spell putting off the confetti toss the day ran without it impacting, and we even managed to venture out in to Maxwell Park for some photos (and for the newlyweds to enjoy some precious time together with warm canapes brought out to them by

Sara from Nosh).

They planned for their wedding day to be very relaxed, saying all they wanted was to have everyone important there - just to drink and be merry - and what a lovely bunch folk they had. Ceilidhdonia had the dance floor full and lots of smiles on faces.

Congratulations guys! Wishing you all the best for your future together!
